Founded as a pediatric practice in 2010, HAPPI Health has grown into a multi-location health center committed to serving the entire community—regardless of ability to pay.
As a HRSA-designated, PCMH-accredited organization, we deliver coordinated, culturally competent care through a team of compassionate professionals.
We understand that health isn’t one-size-fits-all—and we meet each patient where they are with respect, dignity, and clinical excellence.
We offer a wide range of services tailored to meet the needs of both individuals and families.
Our care model integrates adult and pediatric primary care, behavioral health, women’s health, urgent care, and preventive services—all under one roof. HAPPI Health also connects patients to vital social services to address the social determinants of health, including transportation, food, and housing support.

Michelda Johnson is a visionary healthcare executive and accomplished entrepreneur serving as CEO of HAPPI Health.
With over two decades of experience in clinical leadership and business transformation, Michelda is passionate about creating sustainable, patient-centered healthcare models.
Her work spans from founding Alabama’s first Edible Arrangements to supporting global medical missions, and she remains a fierce advocate for healthcare equity, access, and innovation.
Toi Batts Garth,

Toi Batts Garth brings operational excellence and strategic leadership to her role as Chief Operating Officer.
With a focus on efficiency, quality assurance, and team development, Toi ensures that every HAPPI Health location delivers consistent, compassionate care that aligns with the organization’s mission and values.

Geeta Berry,
Chief Financial Officer
Geeta Berry, is HAPPI Health’s newly appointed Chief Financial Officer. Geeta is a visionary and seasoned healthcare executive with over two decades of experience in healthcare finance and strategic leadership. Geeta will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization. In this role, Geeta will support all financial operations, including budgeting, revenue cycle management, grant compliance, and financial reporting.
Before joining HAPPI, Geeta held finance leadership roles at Franklin Primary Health Center (FPHC) where she led initiatives that improved financial sustainability, EHR optimization, and streamlined overall revenue cycle processes and increased collections by over 14% within the last year. Geeta brings deep knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement, HRSA compliance, and the unique financial needs of safety net providers. Her collaborative leadership style and sharp execution have earned a reputation as a catalyst for change and a trusted partner in driving progress across the healthcare ecosystem.
Dr. George Kyle,
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. George Kyle is HAPPI Health’s acclaimed Chief Medical Officer, providing trusted leadership to our health system’s providers and ensuring HAPPI Health maintains its high standard of quality healthcare.
Dr. Kyle brings with him a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our shared mission of improving the quality of life in our community by providing access to quality healthcare services.
Before joining us at HAPPI Health, Dr. Kyle held various roles, including Chief Executive Officer at 31st Combat Support Hospital, and was formerly Chief Medical Officer at esteemed institutions such as Walter Reed's Wounded Warrior Unit; Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center; First Army Division East in Maryland; and the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command at the Redstone Arsenal.
