Patient Advocate (MA)
HAPPI Health is seeking a Patient Advocate to help patients navigate their healthcare journey and connect them with the care and resources they need. This role includes responding to patient calls, coordinating appointments and follow-up care, assisting with medication refills and lab results, identifying barriers to care, and supporting providers and clinical teams. Candidates must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Alabama with 3–5 years of clinical experience; bilingual English/Spanish skills are a strong plus. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and committed to providing patient-centered care to diverse communities.
Certified Pharmacy Tech
HAPPI Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations and help provide safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care. This role assists with medication preparation and dispensing, prescription processing, inventory management, regulatory compliance, and patient service. Candidates must hold a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification, with previous pharmacy experience and knowledge of pharmacy software, pharmaceutical calculations, and sterile compounding preferred. Supervising Pharmacist (PIC)
HAPPI Health is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide safe, effective, and affordable pharmaceutical care while supporting patient education and chronic disease management. Responsibilities include dispensing and reviewing medications, counseling patients, providing medication therapy management, collaborating with clinical teams, and supporting 340B program compliance. Candidates must hold a PharmD or equivalent degree and a current, unrestricted Alabama Pharmacist license, with FQHC or 340B experience strongly preferred. Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Family
HAPPI Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, from newborns through older adults, in our Federally Qualified Health Center. The FNP will provide preventive, acute, and chronic care while collaborating with HAPPI Health’s medical, behavioral health, and care coordination teams to serve our community. Candidates must hold an advanced nursing degree, current Alabama CRNP licensure, national FNP certification, CPR/BLS certification, and have at least one year of primary care experience. Billing Specialist
HAPPI Health is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle/Billing Department in Huntsville, Alabama. This full-time, on-site position supports the complete medical billing and reimbursement cycle for our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), including claims submission, denial management, accounts receivable follow-up, payment posting, reconciliation, and billing compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of medical billing experience, direct experience with Athenahealth (Athena), and knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, and commercial insurance billing. FQHC billing experience is preferred. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to supporting accurate, timely reimbursement while helping HAPPI Health continue providing high-quality care to our community.
