What is HHPAP?
The HAPPI Health Payment Assistance Program (HHPAP) offers discounted healthcare services to qualifying patients based on two primary factors:
The number of people in your household
Your total household income
Discounts are determined using federal poverty guidelines, which are updated annually. Based on your household size and income, qualifying patients may pay as little as $30 for primary care services.
HHPAP can apply to primary care, behavioral health, and select other services at HAPPI Health.
You Can Apply Even if You Have Insurance
Having health insurance doesn't always mean healthcare is affordable.
High deductibles and other out-of-pocket expenses can still create a financial burden for individuals and families. HHPAP isn't just for uninsured patients. If you have insurance but are struggling with the cost of care, we encourage you to ask our team whether you may qualify for assistance.
HAPPI Health serves patients who are insured, underinsured, and uninsured.
What Do I Need to Apply?
Applying is simple. You'll need to provide:
Proof of income, such as pay stubs, a tax return, unemployment documentation, or other applicable documentation
The number of people in your household
This information allows our team to determine your eligibility and the appropriate level of discount.
You can let the front desk know you'd like to apply when you arrive for your appointment, begin the application through the check-in kiosk, or complete the application ahead of time.
What if I Don't Qualify?
Even if you don't qualify for HHPAP, we still want to help you find an affordable way to receive care.
HAPPI Health offers payment plans for patients who need assistance managing their healthcare bills. Our team can also provide enrollment support for programs including Medicaid, Medicare, and health insurance through the Affordable Care Act Marketplace.
Most importantly, HAPPI Health does not turn patients away based on their ability to pay.
