HAPPI Health is excited to invite you to join us in celebrating National Health Center Week, August 3–9, 2025. This national observance is a time to highlight the vital role Community Health Centers like ours play in delivering accessible, equitable care to communities across the country, including right here in North Alabama.

DID YOU KNOW? Community Health Centers have a 60-year legacy of providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible care to millions of Americans.

This year’s theme, America’s Health Centers: Celebrating Past, Present, and Future, highlights the transformative impact of health centers on our nation’s health, their continued dedication to innovation, and their vision for an even healthier future.

Throughout the week, our team will host fun and meaningful activities at our clinics and in the community, and we would love for you to be a part of it!

HAPPI National Health Center Week Highlights

Monday, August 4 – Staff Appreciation Day

Health centers thrive because of their dedicated clinical and non-clinical staff. This day honors all our employees and their vital contributions to patient care and organizational success. Patients can come by and leave a thank-you note to our staff on the Gratitude Board!

Tuesday, August 5 – Patient Appreciation Day

We'll be sending personalized message to patients all week and sharing testimonials on social media.

DID YOU KNOW? Patients make up 51% or more of HAPPI's board members. Patients are at the heart of HAPPI Health and this day recognizes their role in shaping care delivery.

Wednesday, August 6 – Health Conditions Focus Day

We’ll spotlight chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and asthma with a fun and interactive trivia game that patients can play in our lobby and exam rooms.

Saturday, August 9 – Community Fun & Wellness Block Party

5–7 PM | Campus 805, Butler Green

Our capstone event is free and open to the public. It features music, concessions, health screenings, kids’ activities, $1,000 in giveaways, and more. It’s a celebration of community wellness, and we’d be thrilled to have you join us! Get all the details here.
